The Alpaca Yarn Company (formerly
America's Alpaca) 4-Ply Superfine Alpaca DK Yarn (but it's Baby Alpaca,
so
it's even softer), this yarn is perfect for knitting soft, warm sweaters,
socks,
scarves, hats and cozy afghans. It's sold in 50g (1¾ ounce)
skeins
of approximately 109 yards. Gauge is 4½-6 stitches per inch
using size
4-6 (US) needles. Primarily a knitting yarn, it also weaves up
quickly into a soft blanket or throw or a warm shawl. Choose from

Misti Alpaca Baby Royal 4-Ply Yarn - 50 gram skeins

Also called Baby Alpaca Royal, this is one of the rarest and
most precious of all luxury fibers. The finest of all alpaca grades,
it has a fiber diameter of 20 microns or less. It feels like the finest
Cashmere, but is lighter, warmer and silkier.
These select grades of Alpaca were reserved for Inca royalty;
thus the name. The production of this rare fiber is extremely limited
and Misti International is one of the few distributors in the world that is able to offer
Alpaca Royal.
Again, Misti calls this worsted, but it's actually a DK
weight. It's sold in 50g (1¾ ounce) skeins of approximately 109
yards. Gauge is 4½-6 stitches per inch using size
